This movie is a remake of the 1975 film Escape To Witch Mountain .

Race To Witch Mountain is scheduled to release on 13th March, 2009.

The story goes that Ram was forced to retire from professional wrestling after a heart attack which threatened to kill him if he were to ever wrestle again. Due to this, Ram stops his wrestling career, takes up a completely different job, tries to woo an aging stripper and at the same time wants to reconcile with his estranged daughter.

But for how long can you keep THE WRESTLER away from the ring? Ram resigns from his job and announces that he would fight his old nemesis “The Ayatollah”.

Does he win? What about the heart attack warning that he’s got from the doctor?

We’ll have to wait for the movie which would be releasing on December 17, 2008.

The Wrestler premiered at the 2008 Venice Film Festival and was adjudged as winner of the Golden Lion Award for Best Film.

This will be the first computer animated movie which will be produced in real 3-D instead of converting the film into 3-D after it is finished, due to which the films budget has shot up by another $15 million!!

Monsters vs Aliens is based on the horror comic book Rex Havoc, which is about a monster hunter called upon to battle aliens who disrupt cable TV service. Rex assembles a team of monsters to help, including Dr. Cockroach, The Missing Link, B.O.B and Insectosaurus.

It is said that the release date of this movie was moved up to prevent competition with James Cameron’s upcoming Avatar.

Monsters vs. Aliens includes the voices of Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, Hugh Laurie, Seth Rogen, Will Arnett, Rainn Wilson with Stephen Colbert and Kiefer Sutherland.

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has Shah Rukh Khan as a simpleton and it’s a treat to see him in this new avatar. The trailer’s good. The promo features a song titled ‘Haule Haule’. This is supposedly the first time Yash Raj Films is releasing a song promo before the music release. But it was done because today is Shahrukh Khan’s birthday!

The Music of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is releasing on 6th November 2008.

Will Aditya Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan be able to recreate the magic of Dilwale Dulhaniya Le jayenge with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi? Well, lets hope they do ;o)

Angels and Demons stars Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon and is directed by Ron Howard, the same guy who directed Da Vinci Code.

Priyadarshan says  that a phone call was all that was needed from King Khan to get Piggy Chops (Priyanka Chopra) to do the item song for Billo Barber. Guess this would be the first time we would get to see Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra doing an item song together.

Billo Barber, which is a remake of the Malayalam film Kadha Parayumbol, has already been remade in Tamil as Kuselan starring Rajinikanth. Billo Barber is expected to release on October 24, 2008.

Initially, Irrfan Khan, Akshay Kumar and Tabu were signed for the film. However, Akshay Kumar opted out of Billo Barber citing that the role wasn’t exciting enough. Tabu too walked out of Billo Barber since she did not want to work with Irrfan Khan.

Subsequently, Akshay Kumar’s role was offered to Shahrukh Khan and Tabu’s role to Amisha Patel. But, Amisha too decided to walk out of the movie saying that the role wasn’t substantial. Finally, Priyadarshan signed on Lara Dutta to play the role of Billo Barber’s wife.

About the story of the film Billo Barber, Shahrukh Khan says that it’s a sweet story about friendship between two friends very similar to the story of Krishna and Sudama.

Story of Billo Barber :

Billo Barber is a movie about a barber named Billo whose business is low due to a  number of reasons. One fine day, a film unit comes to Billo’s village to shoot a film. The film has a superstar (Shahrukh Khan) as the lead actor. The superstar happens to be Billo’s classmate! When the villagers of Billo’s village get to know about this, they suddenly start respecting and recognizing him. All the villagers seem to be in a mood to make Billo happy in order to be able to get as close to the superstar as possible. But, Billo is unsure if the superstar even remembers him.

When the villagers find out that Billo’s not doing any efforts to meet the superstar, word spreads around that Billo lied to them about his friendship with the superstar. The villagers start insulting him over this. Even his family is disappointed with him.

At the end, the superstar is invited to a school function. Here, the superstar reveals his past. He says that during his school days, he had a friend who always stood by him through his difficult days. He describes how his friend helped him by providing him with food and shelter when he had none. He also says that if he’s a superstar today then it’s all because of this friend who sold off his ancestral ear ring so that the superstar had money to join acting. He finally reveals the friends name which happens to be Billo!
