It works. I uploaded my .gif favicon to Dropbox and to Image Shack, and tried both links. In both cases animation works but only for 6 cycles, afterwords the favicon remains still. I have mailed you the code with the instructions please check and revert back. Did you try checking if the favicon has come or not in other browsers? I mean after you save changes, check in firefox or opera rather than internet explorer. Explorer behaves in a funny way when it comes to favicons. @Feabionsu
