Gmail gadget needs Google Desktop version 5 or above for windows.
Using the Gmail desktop gadget, you can do basic operations such as reading mail, searching and sending messages. You can star important messages too!
The gadget can be easily resized according to your needs.
An added advantage of having the Gmail desktop gadget is the ability to install as many Gmail gadgets as you want. What this means is that you can sign in to multiple Gmail accounts!
Keeping a tab on your multiple Gmail accounts couldn’t have been easier!

Damn I can only seem to get one instance of Gmail gadget displaying, how do you get multiple?? Thanks, this is the nicest Google Mail notifier/mini app I found so far.

OK my bad I was adding Gmail.gg from the web, becuase I couldn’t find it in the Add an App Dialogue, you need to search English (US) to find it in there, then you can add multiple instances.
