There’s a new start up on the block – GlassDoor . You can check out employees reviewing their companies and also disclosing their salaries … all anonymously. Employees also get to approve their CEO’s. Eric Schmidt, the CEO of Google gets an approval rating of 85% while Steve Balmer of Microsoft gets 57% .

Now a lot can be said about these ratings, reviews and the salary disclosures, but there’s no way of being really sure that what you read is the truth because the users posting on this site can even be fake. But who cares.. as far as I can tell… you’ll atleast get a faint idea about a company and its pay packet
