yeah, thats what I do!!!
I had previously blogged about Google countdown to 2009 where Google gives you one new tip everyday until New Years.
I found today’s tip particularly useful.
We all have friends from around the world and at times it gets pretty difficult to guess what the current time is in the country where your friend is residing.
To quickly know the current time in any part of the world just google the name of that country, state or city with the keyword - time .
Example : To know the current time in USA just google time USA

The same holds good for cities and states too.
Google time Bangalore or time Texas and you would get the current time as well as current day in these places.
This google tip to find the current time in any country or city of the world is sure going to come in handy.
A tool to check at-a-glance the link popularity of any site based on its ranking (Google PageRank, Alexa Rank, Technorati etc.), social bookmarks (del.icio.us, etc), subscribers (Bloglines, etc) and more!
PopUri comes in handy when you need to get the detailed information regarding Page Rank, Alexa Ranking etc. for a blog belonging to you or your competitor.

The site also offers you a widget which has information about your blogs ranking obtained from various sites. This can be a handy widget and clean away the mess that we get to see on a lot of blogs caused due to embedding rankings from various sites separately.
Here’s the widget displaying my blogs information :

Some time back twitter had disabled the Name Search feature found under the Find People tab.
They have relaunched the service and it looks all the more better. I use Name Search a lot of times to find my friends whose email address I do not have. Name Search makes my job a lot easier.
The twitter blog says that the new name search is much faster, more relevant, and it even has a phonetic similarity algorithm which is
basically fancy talk for spell check on names.
What that means is, if you were to search for Barack Obama but spelled it as Barack Obbama then it would ask you the question
"Did you mean Barack Obama?"

A lot of my friends on twitter seem to be tweeting about this game named Left 4k Dead which has been developed by Markus Persson as part of the 2009 Java 4K competition .
The 2009 Java 4k competition requires that the size of the games made should not exceed 4kb.
This game seems to be fun to play and addictive too! I got a score of 162 (stop laughing at my low score!).
Go give it a shot. Hope you have fun playing Left 4k Dead .
