Shah Rukh Khan’s fans will get to see him in a double role in the Aditya Chopra directed Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi .

Not much is known about the movie, but it is said that the movie’s inspired by the Amol Palekar classic Golmaal. You might get to see Shah Rukh Khan as a simpleton(should I say Gavaar ?) in one role while a hippie in another. It’s going to be a romantic comedy. Rani Mukherjee will be performing an item number in the film. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi will also serve as the launch pad for newbie Anushka Sharma .

The tentative release date of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is 12th December, 2008. Hope this movie turns out to be good. Shah Rukh’s been through a bumpy year(his fight with Salman Khan ) hence the success of this film would be a big relief for him. Whether the film is a hit or a miss needs to be seen, but about Shah Rukh and Aditya Chopra I can say Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (alright Karan, don’t be jealous now ;o) )
