My Take – The Best 8

I thought why not compile a list of the best couples in bollywood currently and share some info on them. Here’s my list and they are in no particular order.

1. Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan

Kareena aka Bebo dumped her actor boyfriend Shahid Kapur for Chotay Nawab Saif Ali Khan. It’s been said Kareena and Saif came close during the filming of Omkara and subsequently fell in love. Saif’s had his share of failed relationships which included a broken marriage to Amrita Singh and his recent break-up with a model named Rosa .

I don’t know why, but this is one relationship a lot of fans think would not last long . Well, only time will tell. Currently, they’re all over each other and very much in love.

2. Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora Khan

A lot of people were said to be shocked (you can read that as a lot of ‘Malaika’s fans’) when news of their marriage broke out. Many couldn’t accept Arbaaz as husband to the suave and sexy Malaika .

But after so many years down the line, they still seem to be in love and happily married and have a son named Arhaan.

3. John Abraham and Bipasha Basu

The couple was followed everywhere, the paparazzi went crazy clicking photographs whenever they made an appearance together. Then came news of their alleged break up , of Bipasha dancing and kissing footballer Christiano Ronaldo . Then people started taking this relationship for granted and surprisingly, I do not get to hear much about the couple these days.

This is one relationship I swear by. I mean, they are the hottest pair in bollywood and 6 years into the relationship they are still together!! We must give them a big hand friends ;o)

4. Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna

When Akshay announced to the world his intentions of marrying Twinkle Khanna, the world laughed (Akshay and Twnkle have been engaged twice ). They said he would get back to his old self of being a casanova that he was and dump Twinkle eventually.

Call it Twinkle Khanna’s smartness or Akshay’s dedication or simply call it LOVE they are happily married with son Aarav being the center of their affection. Twinkle left acting after marrying Akshay but she’s not stopped working. She decided to pursue her other interest which was interior decoration and is the co-owner of The White Window store.

On July 26, 2007 a leading Mumbai newspaper published a report saying the couple had split and Akshay was staying in a hotel instead of his home. The couple sent a legal notice to the newspaper terming the report baseless .

5. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif

Salman’s known to romance the best babes of bollywood. His relationship with Katrina must be, let me count.. 1..2..3…4.. damn.. there are so many he went out with. Lets leave the count aside, but there has been intense speculation of the couple breaking up .

Anyone sensible would agree being Salman Khan’s girlfriend is no mean job considering the trouble he seems to keep getting into one after the other. But nothing seems to be scaring away Katrina from her love. And if reports are to be believed then this couple’s soon going to tie the knot .

6. Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Abhishek was previously engaged to Karisma Kapoor . But the relationship turned sour when Karisma asked Abby baby to live separately away from his parents after marriage.

Aishwarya had a long list of lovers and was notorious for dumping guys like they were tomatoes ;o)

There was also this news of Aishwarya’s kiss with Hrithik Roshan in Dhoom 2 not going down well in the Bachchan family.

But putting all rumours and past relationships behind the couple finally tied the knot on April 20, 2007 and seem to be enjoying each others company.

7. Kajol and Ajay Devgan

Kajol’s image is that of a chirpy girl full of energy while Ajay Devgan portrays a serene and composed image. Before seeing Kajol Ajay Devgan was dating Karisma Kapoor . Ajay and Kajol make a great couple and I guess this is one relationship everyone talks good of. They have a daughter named Nysa which means goddess of purity.

8. Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone

After Ranbir’s break up with Anil Kapoor’s daughter Sonam Kapoor , it did not take long for Ranbir to find a new girlfriend. And what a choice! The talk of the town, the modern Dream Girl Deepika herself!

Ranbir looks very much like the new casanova of Bollywood and if he sticks to his casanova image then it wouldn’t be long before he starts announcing his ‘single and ready to mingle’ status again.
